Alec Parsons made his money the old-fashioned way: he inherited it. Of course, a young, wealthy dabbler in the occult is easy prey for any Kindred looking for a sugar daddy, and Parthenia Edridge, a Ventrue of the Boston Carthians, took full advantage. Alec spent nearly ten years as Edridge's ghoul before dying senselessly under the gun of a coked-up, nervous money launderer's bodyguard. He was buried under what was supposed to become the concrete footing of a loft development, but a work stoppage gave one of Edridge's enemies time to administer the posthumous Embrace and wait for Alec to claw his way out of the ground.

Alec fled Boston for Haldorf, where he readily ingratiated himself with the local Dragons. Someone has to pay the property taxes on the Academy, after all, and it isn't going to be the Kogaion.
