==History==
'What I remember of my past... Its been so long... But i'm old enough to remember. I must have been very young then, no more then three years old. My town, or where I was living was burning. Pillars of smoke and fire, screams of pain and death. Everyone was dying, I think... But, I was saved. I can barely remember who, but the face sometimes comes back to me in dreams. Equal parts nightmare and beauty, a woman I can't bear to look at out of fear and enrapturement. She took Lilly, too. And i'm thankful every day for that, for my sister also being in this village...

Ever since Ruby explained what happened to the rest of the world, and our situation, its been in my heart to be the hero. To be the one who will try and save the world. I'm a weapons fighter, in that I know how to wield swords, axes, spears... Most melee weapons. I'm only eighteen, but people say I have a bright future ahead of me. Do I? To be honest, I don't know. Everyone has dreams to be better, stronger, more of a person then they are... And so do I. I'm just one person, though. and I know I want to make the world a better place, but how can I do that? Can I even do that?

I will try in any case. Even if it is foolish. I'm one of the oldest orphans, and generally I help the youngest ones, I guess I have a way with helping kids and inspiring people. Even Lilly is surprised by that. People sometimes think i'm just brash or stupid... but i'm not. I don't often show it, but i'm far more capable then I am. I've been through a lot of hardship, and its only recently that its paid off. We can afford things, we trade with the other villagers, Lilly and I make good money. We support the younger or the impoverished. I guess its a way of giving back to the community. One day though, this training of mine will pay off, i'll help Ruby, the village... the world, even! If there even is a world left.

These writings aren't how i'm really like, anyway. You wouldn't think i'm the same person if you saw me and talked to me. I guess i'm more reserved and thoughtful outside my personal thoughts. But... Well,not even Lilly reads this. I can be a bit glib and more light hearted, right? I go through a lot in my mind, so this is some way to make it coherent.

Well, i'll write later. Ruby's saying its something important, so I might as well see whats up! Maybe some other time this can continue....
