In the nice afternoon sun on the beach, between Much Ado About Nothing and Taming of the Shrew, Genne departed from her friends in favor for taking an intermission walk through the rustic yet beautiful trees on the north end of the lake. At the north end of the lake was her stalker-like ex boyfriend and a few of his friends, also in Tahoe for the festival. They met, and there was a quarrel. Unlike many of Shakespeare's plays there was not someone present to save her, and like many of his plays, it ended tragically.
