Her life is far from easy and “Lizzie” spends most of her time distressed, poor, and hungry while her mother parades around with a series of ever worse “boyfriends”. Living in one of the poorest neighborhoods in Boston Lizzie manages to see the darkest and worst parts of humanity (prostitution, drug running, murder, and worse) before she has started attending high school. === Rising Conflict === Defying all expectations of her Lizzie manages to graduate from highschool and then immediately joins the United States military. After she completes basic training she is taken into a side room where she is offered a choice: Infantry duty or something more sinister but just as “valuable” to the country. Lizzie immediately spots the situation for what it is a recruitment into something not quite legal, or ethical. Signing on the dotted line two months later Lizzie is sent overseas to complete her first job for “The Company”. === First Adventure === Agent Elizabeth Austen wakes up strapped to an "operating table" inside a shipping container bloody and beaten. With a quick check she realizes that someone or some people have been operating on her as the small patchwork operating theater appears to have been abandoned perhaps only minutes earlier. Her last memory is of being overseas in eastern Europe closing a deal for Management. It was supposed to be an easy game, legitimate, above board even. Checking herself over she finds that all of her identification (both illegal and illegal) have been striped from her as well as her gun and other tools leaving her only in her blood splattered business suit. Elizabeth extracts herself from the binds that held her to the table and stood shakily checking the inside pocket of her suit jacket she finds a small scrap of paper and a small handwritten note with the words "You Have Been Burned". Before she can properly process this revelation the shipping container lurches to the side and is sent tumbling off of its perch to slam into the ground below and cracks open. === Guest Starring === (TBD) === Guest Starring Redux === (TBD) ---- Back to [[Miami chronicles|The Miami Chronicles]]
