Artifact 4:Shifting Warrior's Dreams was crafted in the High First Age by Moonsilver collected from the Deep Wyld.  The weapon's first form has been lost to history as it maintains its shape after been affected with Lunar Blade Reconfiguration.  It can take the shape of any weapon of Artifact 3 and lower, and always appears to be made of Moonsilver unless another Charm conceals its material.

Mentor 2:Returning Tide.  The No Moon Lunar who found Three Shadows and brought him to the Silver Pact to receive his tattoos.  Returning Tide received much honor for finding a casteless Lunar who had so embraced the Sacred Hunt, and while Three Shadows was a poor student in the arts of the Changing Moon he was never rude or crass and Returning Tide thinks fondly of him


Reputation (Silver Pact) 3:When the young Lunar was brought to receive his tattoos, he had already mastered over fifty unique animals and was an accomplished hunter.  After hearing his story of how he came to meet Luna, the pact honored the Lunar and assumed him to be a Full Moon.  When the tattoos where finally applied and his caste was set at Changing Moon, his natural aptitudes and skills ran contrary to his Caste.  Still, his name and deeds have spread far with more than a few looking forward to the day he embraces his Caste's niche in Creation.

Once there was a young boy, who was the only son of a village's hunter. The path of his life was established and as soon as he was old enough to walk, his father taught him to move through the forest paths. As soon as he was old enough to speak, his father taught him to be silent. As soon as he was old enough to carry a weapon, he brought down his first animal.

The boy did not mind the path his life was going, and took to his lessons as well as could be expected. Strong of back and fleet of foot, the boy grew to early manhood and found the years of labor made the girls of the village pay him quite a bit of attention. This attention planted the seed of pride in his heart, and he set off to prove his abilities. In doing so, he tracked a pack hunter, and planned on taking the Alpha.

As the arrow left the bow, the boy recalled his father's warning: "Be wary of those who hunt in packs, for they fight as one." The arrow struck true and the Alpha fell, but the pack knew they had an intruder, and they did fight as one. Tooth and claw, snarls and screams; the boy flailed without thought or strategy. Flesh ripped and muscles tore, blood flowed and as the boy fell to the ground, the pack was no more. Some had fallen under his wild swings, but most had left him in his wounded state. Wild with fear and trembling with adrenalin, the boy gutted a few of the beasts for their sinews, and stitched his torn flesh before unconsciousness claimed him.

Waking, the boy started to drag himself with his prize home. Agonizing foot turned into excruciating mile as Luna gazed down on the boy three times before he finally stopped. The trees were right. The mountains were correct. His home was gone. He had been without water, so could not cry. The dust of his journey prevented him from screaming in rage at the Gods. Collapsing down next to the remains of the Alpha, the boy gutted the beast. Drank its blood and ate its liver. With nothing else, the boy stood and took another agonizing step before finding himself in the arms of Luna. With a gentle smile, she wiped his forehead and whispered a secret to him. His next step after she had left hurt, but not nearly as bad as before.

The boy hunted for food, and food became plentiful. He sought water and never knew thirst. Painful steps waned as miles disappeared under foot, hoof and wing. Pack hunters fled from his presence, until a solitary hunter found him, and took him to meet his pack. Celebrations were held as the solitary hunter told the boy's story as it was told to him, and the lore keepers etched his skin with Moonsilver. The welcomed him as Hunter. As Warrior. Honored him for taking so many forms. But Moonsilver is mercurial as Luna is, and the lore keeper's hand showed to all the secret Luna once whispered.

"You are not a Warrior."

The boy was a Changing Moon, and had to learn anew. How to entice the prey with words, how to move through cities unseen, to out-think an environment that thought back. He took to his lessons as well as could be expected, but he always preferred to hunt. One time, he was compelled to hunt. He had to follow and find someone like no other in his life, like his Father's warning before; the caution of the Elders in seeking out his mate was forgotten. Until he lost his mate's trail.

That had never happened before.

Now he knew rage. Now he knew fury. Never since he was a child had anything been able to escape him.

Now he had a goal.

He would hunt everything. And nothing would ever be able to escape him again.

From burning sands to frozen ice, ocean depths to tree tops, he hunted. Demons, Elementals, and even humans were hunted. He took their forms, he perfected his hunting.

And he found his mate's trail. But it led to the other side of Creation.

He was not going to lose the trail again.
