Charles Langdon grew up in a poor household on the outskirts of London, he is the only child in the family to go to school and get an education. Academics are where he excelled and achieved success. He was pulled out of public schools at a young age and thrust into private education. This is where he met his life long friend [[Lord Robert Stevens]].
