This is the root page for the development of an open-source, creative commons conlang for use in diverse RPGs. The aims of this project to create a collaborative framework for the development of an intuitive and logical language. --------Section is rough notes to be developed then posted to forums creating an intuitive, logical language. incoporating mathematical, philosophical or symbolic logic. intuitive symbol sets: blissymbolics phonetic vs representative language; latin vs kanji. both, allow for common roots and constructions. vowels as modifiers of consonants grammar: co-opt or create? big question a nuanced yet concise form: allow for variety of expression without superfluous additions (gendered pronouns, really necessary? no) stylistic sounds: esperanto was focused around europeans and missed a large variety of influences. i propose xhosa/zulu, japanese, portuguese, tupi/guarani. english/latin and romance will sneak in becase of our familiarity with them. japanese over chinese because it allows tonal to remain distinct form complicating those who are not familiar with it from young age, and also because the anglicized consonant vowel pairs are more immediately intelligible/pronounceable to western readers. but in fact, there can be crossover of pronunciation. we can all use the same set of core symbols, but have their pronunciation/phonetic spelling be different according to the style of our setting. include my number system emotive strokes yi script for complete syllabary, vote? ----------resources http://www.google.ca/search?q=3000+most+common+words http://www.blissymbolics.us/ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Conlang http://www.zompist.com/kit.html
