A native of Huston, Texas in many ways you led an enviable childhood. Your father, an ex lawyer and current member of the state legislature, provided well for the family but set a high standard to follow. 
Being the younger of two sons left you with a burning desire to outdo your older brother. This came to a head when your kinda average brother got into Princeton due to favours called in by your father, favours that were dried up when you applied, sticking you in your safety ETU. Your father taught sending his son to a State Collage would look good for his upcoming election, luckily your father said you only had to stay a year.
Your ideal college required three things: a strong Law department, a chapter of your father’s fraternity for networking, and a campus where father's political weight could help with a quick transfer at the end of the year. East Texas University works well enough for now and with the brothers of Omega Chi Delta who have already welcomed you as a legacy and member you plan to just fly under the radar for a year and then get to a real college. 
You have been hiding that you smoke from everyone in case it got back to your dad and he made you quit for appearances sake.
