Wolf grew up in Chicago, in a poor working-class area. A drop-out at the age of sixteen, he managed to not fall in with a gang due to his upbringing by his mother, and his size to menace them if they got too pushy. He did warehouse jobs mainly, and got into boxing. Getting serious, he started going to the gym seeking movement and flexibility training. There he met Kerri, a gym rat and all-around geek-girl. He doesn’t know why she loves his ugly mug, but accepts it, goes along with her pursuits with good humor.
