History/ Background- Daniel is a mutant, born with a latent psionic ability to communicate with anything. At first this was simply conversations with the dog and his mothers houseplants. However as he got older his abilities expanded. He began to be able to communicate with reality itself! At first the sensory overload was more than Danny could take. He was forced to take some time off from school, to get a “handle” on his abilities. In time Danny learned to cope and returned to school. 

Given Danny's intelligence and unique prospective and abilities, school was never a problem. Luckily he liked school in general and science in particular. Which lead to the next big change in his life. Danny graduated high school at the age 0f 14 and earned a scholarship to Stanford University. There Danny quickly earned a reputation as a brilliant young researcher. Danny's life was changed forever one night, when as a joke, older students slipped something, Danny has never been able to determine exactly what, into his drink. For the next several hours Danny experienced things that to this day he won't discuss. Whatever the substance was it reacted with Danny's abilities, somehow boosting them from simply communicating with reality to manipulating it. He woke up the next morning in an alley just off of Times Square in New York City, with no idea how to get home. Whatever abilities the drug had granted him where gone. Danny made his way back to Stanford and threw himself into the study of Space/ Time. He was determined to regain the abilities he had for so short a time. Eventually he succeeded, creating his “Omni- Belt” which allows him to manipulate the reality around him. He still hopes to someday awaken the inherent abilities within himself, but until then he's fine with a little artificial help. At present Danny is looking for opportunities to test his new abilities. 

Powers/ Abilities- Danny Rose is a brilliant young man. His powers are the ability to communicate with anything, particularly machines. Danny has constructed a device he calls the “Omni*Belt” which allows him to manipulate reality, space/ time around him. He can teleport great distances, slow freeze time in his own local area, create waves of “warped” reality that deflect attacks, create “point- to- point” worm holes of varying sizes, from large enough for people to move through (teleport w/ portal) to small enough for only himself to reach trough, and shift himself slightly out of phase with the local space/ time continuum (insubstantial). The belt also has several defensive (Force Field/ Shield/ Immunities/ Invisibility) and offensive (Enhanced Strength/ Strike) systems, as well a a compact dimensional pocket he uses to store equipment.
