__NOTOC__

__NOTOC__
Mortal Coils is a "one shot" style short game of Don't Rest Your Head. The City Slumbering and its surrounding Townships are located in a mid-to-late 20th century middle Amarican-esque setting with the Mad City (and it's associated Mad Townships) overlapping that same space and time, but with their own rules and reality.

Nightmares in this game will tend towards the Lovecraftian mixed with a smattering of grimdark fantasy elements and a liberal dose of classic horror tropes rather than the suggested nightmares of the core game (though some of those will make an appearance as well).
