== Background ==
Dagmaer is a cleric of Odin/Wotan but not so much a battle cleric/crusader. Instead, his role is that of the scop, using his battle chants and taunting to urge on his allies and goad his foes into foolish action. He documents the actions of the warriors he accompanies and seeks further enlightenment, as Wotan did at Yggdrasil. Due to the rigors of the many rites and trials he has undergone, his body has been left broken and weakened.
