I couldn't join in tho.'  For although Death was my friend and I personally had dealt it more than I wanted to in my short life so far, I couldn't find joy in war.  Wholesale slaughter was something completely different than looking a man in the eye and watching him die by your hand.  Just was and it bothered me in ways I would later understand better when I could look back on it.<br><br>  

They'd argue that mass death was better than mass enslavement by the likes of Veridian and Blue Sun.   But you can always dream as a slave.  Ain't no dreaming dead.<br><br>
