[[Miriel]], [[Dio]], [[Tam]], and their friends [[Father Charles]] and [[Damien Blackclaw]] awake in a prison camp with a crystal key, having been suckered there by five mysterious individuals. They break out and then decide to track down [[Duke Krenan Telnath]] who had them imprisoned.<br>
<br>
At this point Father Charles leaves the group and pawns his key off on [[Lolindor]]
<br>
The PCs infiltrate a party that [[Duke Krenan Telnath]] is throwing for his son. They sneak through the house that night and find that the duke's furniture is alive, and all the portraits of the Duke's ancestors show the same person. In the basement they find a portal to the same house in the Elemental Chaos. They steal [[The Duke's Ritual Book]] and make their escape.<br>
<br>
The PCs track down the five people that imprisoned them. The PCs learn that their persecutors are the [[Five Chosen Ones]] from a prophecy, trying to shirk their duty. They find that each of them has a piece of a map that contains a riddle/puzzle. The maps lead to a dungeon at the bottom of which the [[Angel Lerall]] tells them more about the prophecy and sends them into the Shadowfell to retrieve the [[Goblet of Ice]]<br>
<br>
In the Shadowfell, the PCs meet Sarshan, a warlord arms-dealer. He tries to hire them to help him with his nefarious plan, but they escape, blow up his monster forge and take the first portal home.<br>
<br>
The PCs emerge in the dwarven city of Overlook. They then undertake a few missions to defend the city culminating in a grand battle against a Gith invasion.<br>
