;T’was just before dawn
;One hopeless dark morning in 3430
;When our King and Commander
;Gil’ Galad, went on to the Mountain
;When he would asked that his Lords be withdrawn
;And Numenor gave thanks
;As the Elven ranks held back
;The Trolls and the Orcs for a while
;And the Towers of the Teeth
;Were held for the price
;Of a few extraordinary lives.

;And kind Isildur
;Sent Mother a note
;When he learned Caran-Rhaw’s Lord was gone.
