Flashback: A lecture hall. People are packed into the room, watching a screen. On the screen, Doctor Professor is giving a demonstration. Doctor Professor: Seamless teleportation, or, as I like to call, it, Instalocation, will revolutionize how we think of travel. Just imagine going from one place to another without even noticing that you've gone anywhere. Furthermore, imagine if you could just hold out your hand... She holds out her hand. Doctor Professor: And before you think, you could have a margarita in your hand! Sure enough, the drink has appeared, not popping into existence, but simply coming to be there, as if she were holding it the entire time. Doctor Professor: With a refrigerator equipped with Instalocation technology, the ingredients could be combined faster than instantly, and it would be like you've always had that refreshing drink. She starts to take a sip, which becomes a glug, and she quickly finishes of the entire thing. Doctor Professor: With Instalocation, the sky isn't the limit anymore. The range of my technology goes beyond even the Earth itself. She seems to have procured a space helmet of some sort, and puts it on. The background shifts slightly, into a field of stars. Doctor Professor: I'm on the Moon. The camera pans out to show that she is, in fact, standing on the moon. The clip cuts out, and the audience isn't quite sure what they just saw. End flashback. P.S.: Also, sometimes off Earth. You can call me Priya. A.H.: Thank you for keeping it short and relatively lucid, Priya. Since I'm the one who pulled this thing together, I suppose I should go next. My name is Agatha Hirsch, known professionally as MS. WIZARD. I have expert knowledge of multiple forms of magic, and can sling a spell with the best of them. Flashback: The Moon. Doctor Professor has just finished her demonstration, and is preparing to return to Earth. Ms. Wizard casually walks up behind her, wearing no breathing apparatus at all. Ms. Wizard: An... unusual demonstration. Doctor Professor: Agatha! You really need to stop sneaking up behind people. Especially people who carry particle beam weapons. How are you doing? Also, how are you breathing on the Moon? Ms. Wizard (smirking): A wizard did it. Doctor Professor: Typical. So, what brings you to the moon? Ms. Wizard: I had an idea. There are some... unpleasant things coming. I want to put together a group to deal with them. I have a few names in mind, and figured you might have a few more. Doctor Professor: Indeed I might. I assume I'm on this list of yours? Ms. Wizard: Of course. Right at the top. Let's discuss this somewhere more terrestrial. Doctor Professor: I'll meet you at my lab. And just like that, Doctor Professor is gone, like she was never there at all. Ms. Wizard waves her hands, and light flows out of them. A door appears. It's a typical sort of door, the type you'd see on the outside of any home. Except it's standing by itself, on the Moon. Ms. Wizard turns the knob, opens the door, and walks through. When she closes the door behind her, it vanishes. End flashback. Doctor Professor Ms. Wizard Tobyverse
