Planarch Effect is a PbP game run on the RPG.net forums, set in a universe inspired by Spelljammer and the Mass Effect games.

We follow the adventures of the first human Spectre, Morgan the Cruel, and her motley band of associates as they work together to save the universe from horrors beyond the dragon-gates...

Morgan's talent and intelligence immediately attracted attention, and many of her teachers were so impressed that they overlooked her ruthlessness, arrogance, and ambition. Her peers were not so forgiving, declaring her "Morgan the Cruel." But those higher up saw something important in her: a willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done.
