Earnest was born in Audair for about twenty years ago, but have because of work spent most of his in Breland, to the extent that he know usually speaks with a slight Brelish accent when he tries to speak Audairian. Before the war started he used to work as a carter and messenger for House Orien, but a few years ago, his main source of income changed, when he figured out that soldiers are prepared to pay for all kinds of luxury when they are out on a campaign.

He has a soft spot for beautiful women, especially [[Sabrina]]. Strangely though, he doesn't seem to be "into" demi- or semi-humans, and he almost feels intimidated if he gets hit on by one of them. This isn't though, a sign of rascism. He's just not interested, and he finds it slightly creepy to have sex with something that got fangs.
