It doesn't happen as often now, but in the early days of the Advent, [[STEEL Details (Tobyverse)|STEEL]] imprisoned a huge number of Changelings. No reasons were ever given, no warrants, no due process, nothing. What a lot of people do not know, however, is that STEEL was not simply imprisoning Changelings. They were putting them to use as well, brainwashing them and transforming them into living weapons. Many went through the process, reprogrammed and deployed. Morris was one of them. Morris's Changeling powers put him right past the physical capability of a human being in most areas. Even at the young age of twelve, he was far stronger and faster than Children five years older than him could be. It was for this reason, these advantages, that he was groomed to be an assassin. Later on, when he was about seventeen, destiny struck. A rogue element inside STEEL, frustrated by the decrease in speed in the suppression of Changelings, activated Morris and sent him after [[Dr. Kadabra's Story (Tobyverse)|Dr. Kadabra]]. It was a harrowing experience...Kadabra, for all his power, had never had an attempt on his life....well, not one from a professional. Fortunately, he had three powerful and loyal students to protect him. Kadabra, of course, was outraged when he discovered where the boy had come from. He Attempted to take legal action against STEEL, which went just about as well as every other time he had tried that, but he did win a small victory over them. STEEL, for all of its power, could not be seen as simply ordering a random hit on him, so they denied any link to the boy. And Kadabra decided to show the young man how to think for himself....as well as how to use his amazing powers for good. He cannot remember his last name (Or perhaps first name? Morris could be either) and when serving with the team, he goes by the name Eldar. Powers: Eldar's powers are essentially being better than you, physically at least. He is faster, stronger, more acrobatic, and superior in many other ways to the human maximum potential. Years of conditioning and training by STEEL has converted him into a master of several martial arts, among other things. These two factors make him one of the primary martial artists of the setting.
