=Background=
A native to this village and the youngest child of a large peasant family. The family couldn't afford to feed her, so she was given to the chapel as a child, an event she is actually very grateful for, as she thinks her life turned out much better as a result! She grew up in the chapel doing everything from cleaning to altar-serving. As soon as she was old-enough, the priest officially took her as an initiate to the Sigmar faith. For many years there as just her and the priest tending to the small flock that attended the chapel. Her faith and enthusiasm were never in doubt, but the priest frequently reprimanded her for being too active. A life of quiet contemplation never really suited her and she dreamed of someday being a witch hunter - going out across the lands hunting down the evils that plague the world and smiting the heresy for Sigmar!

Recently, the priest himself set out to verify the evil hordes sacking the lands and to get assistance for the village. He never returned. Since then Ericka has, by default become the village priest.
