'''A.K.A. Discordia, Strife''' ''' Description:''' Eris is the Greek Goddess of Strife and Discord, of Chaos and Confusion, and it shows. She is the daughter of Nyx. Still snubbed by the Dodekatheon for a little prank involving a golden apple, it nonetheless speaks volumes of her power and capabilities that she has not only survived, but prospered in the modern era, demonstrating remarkable adaptability and cunning; once feared, if not outright dreaded, by mortals throughout the ancient world, her popularity is on the rise after a successful public relations campaign in the form of the pseudo-religion known as 'Discordianism'.
Do not be fooled, however; Eris remains one of the most fickle Goddesses. Sometimes kind, othertimes cruel, occaisionally wise, usually mad, the only constant is her near-complete unpredictability. Even Loki of the Aesir can usually be relied upon to act selfishly; not so with Eris. Knowing well how profoundly she can disrupt their enemies, Zeus keeps her on hand, however, doing his best to channel her energies against the titans and their spawn. Others of the pantehon consider it hubris of his part to think he can control Strife herself.
In time, Eris has adopted every walk of life, usually briefly and ending in spectacular conflagrations. Her Scions are just as eclectic and unpredictable as their mother, yet all share a slight streak of madness and distaste of order for order's sake. ''' Associated Powers:''' Epic Appearance, Epic Manipulation, Epic Charisma, Arete, Chaos, Magic, War ''' Favoured Abilities:''' Empathy, Larceny, Politics, Investigation, Integrity, Stealth ''' Rivals:''' Aphrodite, Athena, Hera; Hachiman, Horus, Quetzalcoatl, Shango, Thoth, Tyr
