== Fairweather Harkness, Duke of Paper == '''Attribute Levels''' Aspect 0: 5 MPs--Of Mortal Form Domain 4: 5 MPs--Duke Realm 1: 5 MPs--Radiant Spirit 1: 5 MPs--Hearthfire '''Wound Levels''' 1 Deadly 1 Serious 2 Surface '''Gifts''' Papercrafting (Lesser Change of Paper, Simple Miracle, Local, Comprehensive, 5 Penetration): With a simple touch, Fairweather can "animate" origami objects to perform, for all intents and purposes, identically to the objects or creatures they represent. Wayfinder: As a mortal, Fairweather saw into the deeper nature of things--patterns within patterns, connections spiderwebbing across the fabric of reality. As a Power, this ability has been focused and honed, allowing him to see paths to places otherwise hidden. Elemental: Fairweather sees reality as a vast construct of paper, and this philosophy includes his sense of self. So much so, that he can make this conception a reality, turning his physical form into a true manifestation of his Estate. '''Limits and Restrictions''' Affiliation: Personal Code --To see the truth is the highest ideal. --Sanity shackles the mind; common sense cages logic. --Every secret is a weapon. Virtue: Pattern-Seeker. Fairweather lives by the principle that everything is connected in some way, shape or form, and no man, beast or god can dissuade him from that belief. Limit: A Touch of Madness (1 MP). As a mortal, Fairweather was simply insane. As a Power, some of that madness has been revealed as truth. Even so, seeing the truth of things was not the full extent of his dementia. At the very least, he is a difficult man to understand; at his worst, he can be completely incomprehensible. Restriction: Revelatory Trait (1 MP when it comes up). Fairweather's fingers leave ink stains on whatever they touch, though they do not appear stained themselves. '''Bonds''' 4-His stressed-out Anchor, Daphne Vale 4-His Beloved Dog, Meredith "Scratches" Harkness 4-His Estate 2-Newspapers 2-Libraries 2-Origami Artists 2-His ability to find patterns '''Design''' In a white porcelain vase, emblazoned on a background of interlocking geometrical patterns, stand the flowers of Fairweather and his estate. Fairweather's flower is that of Order: White, trumpet-like flowers, tinged with purple, their petals partly closed, sit atop a stem with three sets of five whorled leaves. His estate is represented by the flower of Knowledge: Tiny clusters of open black blooms adorn a stem with three pairs of heart-shaped leaves. '''Anchors''' (More flavor text to follow. This is what I was primarily having trouble with.) Daphne Vale: Who knew that a poorly mounted air conditioner could sweep one up in such madness as this? Daphne is the unfortunate target of Fairweather's lopsided affection, a harried woman making the best of a lifestyle change as insane as it was unexpected. Meredith "Scratches" Harkness: Every hobo needs a dog, and Scratches is Fairweather's most devoted companion.
