=====Background=====
As a child growing up, Connor was the victim of a classic case of spiritual possession. It wasn't anything as dramatic as you might see on TV, but it was terrifying none the less. Being an orphan in a charitable Catholic institution, a professional exorcist was called in from the Vatican. The resulting expulsion was successful... kinda. It proved to be a particularly powerful and tenacious entity, just as the exorcist was a man of deep sincere faith and equally tenacious. Instead of being cast out, the being was lobotomized, leaving a ten-year old child in possession of its powers.

Recognizing the dangers of leaving a child with this level of strength without guidance, the exorcist (Father Anderson) went through the considerable trouble and red tape of arranging for Dillon to return with him to Rome. Over the next period of time, he was taught to use his powers responsibly, for the good of others (and the Church of course!) He now serves as something of a trouble-shooter for the Church. In these troubled times, it doesn't hurt to have a miracle or two on your side!

''We Struggle Not With Flesh and Blood''- Due to his rather unique experiences, Father Dillon has made a study of spiritual possession and of his own powers. He is able to extend his senses into the spiritual realm, exhibits an ability to extend his senses approximately one-hundred meters away, and is a Church-approved exorcist. This can be compelled to draw unfriendly attention to him from the 'other side,' to cause Connor to obsess over a particular hunch, or to 'weird people out' who witness him in action.

''Man of the Cloth''- As a member of the clergy, Father Dillon has experience in dealing with spiritual threats, organizing a congregation, and is generally seen as a decent and honorable man. It can be compelled by the GM having orders given from his superiors, to bring up opposition to the Church he represents, or to bring up situations he isn't comfortable with.

''Kinetic Connor''- One of the common abilities of so-called Poltergeists is the ability to send objects flying about the room. Connor 'inherited' this in spades. It can be used when he flexes his mental muscles. It can be compelled to indicate an over-reliance on his special abilities

''Hardened Veteran''- As a representative of Rome, Father Dillon has been through all sorts of harrowing situations and displays the unflappable personal courage of a combat veteran. It can be compelled to raise enemies of the church from past missions, or possibly flashbacks during times of stress.

''Danger Sense''- The character maintains a quick and easy awareness of ambushes and other nasty surprises – perhaps preternaturally, perhaps simply due to finely tuned mundane senses. Whenever ambushed, the character is able to take a full defensive action, gaining a +2 on his defense roll, regardless of whether or not he’s surprised (if he is surprised, dropping his base defense to Mediocre, this stunt takes his base defense up to Fair)

''Heart's Secret''- You have an instinct for going right to the heart of a person and finding out what matters most to them. Whenever you make a successful Empathy read on someone, the GM must select from the aspects that are of the utmost importance to the character, unless you explicitly instruct her otherwise. Normally, the GM has a freer rein in her selection.

While this still can’t get you to trip over anything that’s truly still a secret to you (this isn’t an instant mystery solving stunt!), it should at least put you as close to the core truth about a character.

''Uncanny Hunch''- Sometimes your guesses play out to great advantage. Once per scene, you may make a guess about what the “deal” is with a particular character, object, location, or situation.

Do not speak this guess aloud; write it down on a piece of paper and give it to the GM. The GM must accept it as a valid hunch that would be something of a revelation if true (i.e., no “I’m convinced that moon orbits the Earth!” – that’s too obvious). If, at some later point, your hunch proves to be correct, you may use your Investigation or Empathy skill instead of any other skill, where that target is concerned, for one exchange.

''Five-Minute Friends''- For a fate point, you can make a steadfast friend in a place you’ve never been, given a chance for five minutes of conversation. This stunt makes nearly impossible opportunities to make friends merely improbable, improbable opportunities probable, and probable opportunities outright certain.

''The Right Questions''- Smaller parts of a larger truth can contain a blueprint of the whole – and as a skilled conversationalist, you are adept at pulling the larger truth out of a single individual. Provided the person you’re talking to is at least neutral towards you, you may use your Rapport skill instead of Contacting for any effort to gather information. The results are limited and colored by the knowledge available to your chat partner, but it’s always possible he doesn’t know that he knows certain things, and as such, your acquaintance effectively acts as a small “cluster” of contacts.
