-I am a big coffee perosn, so one of my favorite places is Cafe Vero located in the Eastview shopping plaza next to Sobeys. It was opened by the owners of Apple Drugs a few years ago. I also had the pleasure of working there for a year and half and it made some great memories and also allowed me to meet some great people. Its fairly low key which is nice if you want to take a quiet break with a delicious hot or cold beverage. They also serve freshly made panini sandwiches which make a perfect lunch as well as a variety of desserts! Another interesting aspect of the cafe is that they host art openings monthly. Its a great opportunity for new (or old) artists/photographers to show off and even sell some of their greatest work.So if you love coffee but need to get away from the Starbucks trend, go check it out!
