The crew, Terra especially, exhausted every attempt to bring Lisa back in the weeks following her death. All failed. Now, more than a year afterwards, she has mysteriously reappeared. All her memories are intact, and there is little doubt that this is truly Lisa back from the dead. Needless to say, Terra and their children are ecstatic.

Not all is well, however. Terra had accepted her death and had begun to move on, by the time of Lisa's return being in a very involved relationship with Motoko. While Terra was beyond words in her joy, she felt guilty about just dropping Motoko like that, and Motoko took things even harder. In a surprise move, Lisa provided a novel (and quite unexpected) solution. She and Motoko would, in effect, share Terra. In exchange for this, Lisa would be allowed to indulge her continuing attraction to Michael. Somewhat reluctantly, Terra has agreed.

It seems that her time spent in death (oddly, she refers to Dolurrh and not the Flame) has left her with few, if any, inhibitions. Her old feelings still remain, but she sees no need to hold back. She wants to, she does it. She likes it, she does it. Needless to say, those who knew her before are more than freaked out by her new attitude. Captain Jarlot's lame "dresses or nothing" attempt to suggest Lisa go naked was met not with her Hammer, but with enthusiasm. And that's just the start of it.

Lisa Hopeforge: Queen of Thrane, beloved wife and mother

Lisa died valiently in defense of her homeland against an attack by the Acendant Councel of Dragons. In exchange for her life essence, effectively eliminating any chance for revival, she was able to fell the King of Red Dragons and deal a serious blow to the Councel as a whole. She is survived by her wife, her 5 daughters and her son. Every so often, she appears to Terra, but whether she is actually visiting or is merely an illusion created by Terra's grief-stricken mind is unclear. The fact that she has so far appeared to no one else and only Terra can see her suggests the latter.

UPDATE: As it turns out, only the first appearance to Terra (calming her) was Lisa. All subsequent visits were by Tiamat as part of an illusion.

For all intents and purposes, Lisa wears the pants in the family. Terra may be far more powerful, but she is (gleefully) under Lisa's thumb. Lisa is also the bedrock on which her family depends, a source of strength and calm that serves to inspire her loved ones. Not to mention, as Terra will be the first to admit, a DEMON in the sack. Which has, inevitably, led to the happy couple's second round of children, carrying Momo and siring Nina, Deis, and Scias.

While the rightful heir and recognized successor to the Crown in Thrane,Elina's troubles have so far precluded Lisa's ascention. So long as the nations of Khorvaire consider her daughter a threat, she has no qualms about remaining by her side. Recent events have only strengthened her resolve to end the torment her children endure. She feels helpless at times, considering they're up against dieties, but her unconditional support of both Elina and Sarah goes further than she knows.

Her father, Cardinal Krozen, is dead. During an Imperium invasion (Warhammer 40k), the Cardinal sided with the invaders and attempted to gain control over the Silver Flame itself. His efforts ultimately failed, and ended in his execution at the hands of those citizens of Flamekeep he had betrayed so completely. Lisa's mother, Queen Diani, is also deceased, a victim of the continuing war between the gods over the path Elina will tread on her way to fulfilling her role as Promise Breaker.

* Her Charisma Modifier is now so high that her smite is the martial eqivalent of a Bigby's Crushing Tactical Nuke

* At least, that's what Terra believes. But she's a little biased, being completely and utterly whipped

* Her armor can channel spells, more specifically those of Druidic origin, as further augmentation of her already formidable skills

Lisa seems to have found her place in the insanity that is the Forgotten Freedom. Her time with the crew has indeed shown her the error of not only her own puritanical ways, but of the Church of the Silver Flame as a whole. Most notably, she has learned the difference between spreading good and destroying evil. Her relationship with Terra seems to have been the largest catalyst for this change. Terra can also be argued to be her only real success in turning from the path of evil (not a TOTAL success, but close enough). Her strength of character and general ability to spread good will even among the outcasts of the Forgotten Freedom has earned her a great deal of respect, even among the more evil characters.

Her father, High Cardinal Krozen, is a right bastard of a man who refused to acknowledge her as his daughter for his own political gain, abused her as a child in order to keep her under his influence, placed her in a monastary to train as a Paladin to keep her out of the way, and had her sent to the Forgotten Freedom in the hopes she would be killed by the crew. She has risen and passed each of these challenges, and has even started a family of her own. Her wife, Terra, is extremely devoted to her. They even have a pair of daughters, Sarah and Elina, whom she loves dearly. Though not a werewolf himself, Krozen is a carrier of Lycanthropy. He passed it on to Lisa, but it is repressed, and she in turn passed it on to her daughters. Even before learning of this, she had not bought into the Church's hatred of Were's simply because of what they are for some time.

Though she is excommunicated from the Church, she hopes to one day expose the evil within it that have turned it into a force of destruction and a tool of political expediency. Knowing that her daughters face certain persecution if nothing is done drives her forward to this lofty goal. With Terra's help, she hopes that by exposing the misdeeds and outright abuses of those responsible, she can guide the Church to a rebirth as a force for justice, hope, and guardian for those unable to defend themselves.

LG Paladin of the Silver Flame

Lisa Hopeforge is a Paladin chosen by the Silver flame to do battle with the forces of darkness. Unfortunately, the dead sexy looks-like-a-pinup-model seems like a comic book fanboy's wet dream woman has the SLIGHTTTTTTT issue that she has a rather unfortunate temper. Suffice to say, she sees evil...she smites it. This has lead to some embarrassing situations with the papacy's diplomacy and everyone from Karrnath to Darguun. It got to the point that the redheaded warrior was almost excommunicated from the faith, which would have been extremely embarrassing as she's also of the Royal Family of Thrane.

The new Pontiff Jaela came up with the idea then to 'Quest' her and using her mighty magics, then sent Lisa Hopeforge on a mission to spend a month of her life with neer'do'wells under the firm indictment to not fight their evil with violent means but instead fight evil with words. This was to teach her about the potential for redemption in all beings. According to the stipulations of her quest, she has to start over everytime she uses violence to solve her problems.

....Lisa has been with the crew five years now.

Lisa has occasionally thought about killing the entire crew and finding another less-demanding group to spend her time with but she must confess that the crew seems to have the curious property of managing to stop much more dangerous evils whenever she's about sure they all deserve to be annihilated. Rajahs, Daelkyr, Demon Princes, Emerald Claw, and so on. On some TWISTED, REPRESSED, and BIZARRE part of her soul...she even likes several of the members.

Lisa's interactions with the crew mostly consist of her (nonviolent according to her) use of a Hammer of Healing that she keeps in her breast plate of holding to beat the living snot out of crewmembers but also not leave them any physically worse off afterwards. She hits them whenever she feels they're being perverted, evil, stupid, or crude....thus someones usually in immense pain. This is likenable to the "Ninja Girl" (another female onboard the ship)'s use of a paper fan.

Sadly, Lisa's quest is doomed to fail as she unknowingly has been excommunicated a few thousand tims by the Church for mere association with the group.

Update:

Currently, Lisa has clamed a great deal due to her relationship with Terra, to whom she is now married. Though she still uses her (upgraded to +6 for the wedding) Hammer of Healing, she is far less liberal with its use. It was revealed that her father is High Cardinal Krozen, who has disavowed her in order to maintain his claims of celebacy. Since her mother is Queen Diani ir'Wynarn, she is technically the crown princess of Thrane. However, she dislikes the title because she does not believe in monarchies.
