Fiddling with the chaos magic of the ship, Rose accidentally took Elin along with him for a five year (though he only claims to be one year) trip through time-space-reality that resulted in her taking up the study of wizardry under the Bard. There, Elin studied magic under Mordenkaine, Elminster, the Flesh-Weaver, the Hags of Sora Kell, and other powerful magicians. Her favorite master was Linda Reverse, the Atomic Explosion creating Magic User with her companions Goudy, Bellos, Delgadis, and Amalia.

Because of the peculiar nature of the ship, Elin has returned before she left and accidentally may have prevented herself from ever leaving. She doesn't know how to approach her mommies about what has happened because they're completely unaware of anything having happened to their little girl. She's also a trifle uncertain about how to approach Lilly since she had a relationship with him in the future.

In order to avoid confusion, Rose used a Wish spell scroll to turn her into Sara. It seems that this one is more of a "future alternate" than a "future double", and has none of the unique powers that Sarah or Elina carry, though she has a bit of an unfortunate temper. Terrek has taken her under his wing for reasons unknown. He claims she reminds him of his long-dead son.
