Created for the [[ForsakenGods:Main_Page | Forsaken Gods]] pbp by Sabermane '''LOKI''' Lowell Tenor '''Traits''' ''Trickster'' 5 (Loki can convince people of anything) ''Ice Giant'' 4 (the blood of his parents has made him a giant monster of a man ''Shapeshift'' 3 (Can turn into animals or other people, not gods or inanimate objects. Used to be better at it, but not quite as good anymore...) ''Untrustworthy'' 1 (Loki has a bad reputation. Just like the devil, if they recognize him, people will be unwilling to just trust him.) '''Belief''': 5 Loki and the rest of his kin were prepared for the final battle of the gods that would destory the earth and all on it--man and god alike. What really happened was that it all wimpered out, and mankind decided that electricity was just mysterious enough, thank you very much. In the modern age, Loki gets by on his gifts, never really staying in one place very often. He's a grifter and a con artist, getting by on other people's luck, and using his talents to get what he wants and stay out of trouble. While Loki has probably met almost everybody else, he rarely hangs out with many people for very long. Being known as "the bad trickster god" makes him unpopular, and most people expect him of doing something bad even when he's not (no really, this time, I mean it...). He still sees his sister Hel occasionally (staying in a hospital for trauma patients; it's easier than walking around with half your body dead), and Fenris (still chained up and rather depressed), but most of the rest of the Asier don't really appreciate Loki, and the last time he met Thor, the big lug tried to kill him because "this was all his fault". '''Myth''': Loki is one of the few "evil" trickster gods in myth. He's stolen, tricked, and even set up murder, and every story about him is bad. Of course, that's just because he had a rough childhood. Think about it--The Asier were always fighting the Ice Giants. Loki was half-giant, blood brother to Odin. This doesn't mean people trust you right off the bat, but yet they can't really pick on you. His most infamous story was setting up the murder of Baldur. It's not like that was HIS fault, really--who told Frigg to not get the bloody mistletoe to sware an oath? Who said "Hey, Hodur, throw this at his friggin' face with fatal force"? Loki just wanted to teach the guy a lesson--no one is invincible. He just learned it a bit too well. '''Realm''': Deep in the earth, Loki's cave lies quiet and somber. He rarely vists, as it's a dark place even for him. A few relics lie here, as well as a few driver's licenses and nick-nacks. Loki can find this place while underground or in a completely dark location. '''Motivation''': Tricking the right people. Getting people to understand they aren't so hot, they're not the greatest, they're not really in control. Pulling con jobs, getting what he wants, and in many ways simply being an ass. '''Modern''': Loki travels around a lot. He doesn't stay in one place, but uses his powers to get what he wants, be it money, women, or other trinkets. He and Angerboda have been more or less seperated for as long as anyone can remember, although Loki still vists his children Hel and Fenris, both stuck in their own places. '''Appearance''': While Loki changes his looks often, his natural form is one most gods are all too familiar with. A great giant of a man, over six feet tall, with bright red hair and fair skin, and a wicked sharp smile. His eyes glint black, and his wide lithe frame is a little disturbing. '''Recuperating''': Loki regains spirit by tricking the overly brave, the overly brash, the headstrong and the downright wicked. He likes to prove to people that really, they aren't all that impressive or smart.
