Ghost is in the late stages of Terraforming. Settlement has already begun and people are working to make the planet livable. Since this planet was never quite "finished" much of the atmosphere is tainted and toxic.  The inhabitants use masks and special suits to protect them. Visitors typically stay inside, and don't stay long. The planet has made some lemonade out of this, by culling useful chemicals from the stew they call air, and selling them to industry. This has the added benefit of reducing the harmful chemicals in their own atmosphere (though not substantially). Ghost will forever be inhospitable, but where there is a credit to be made, you will find people. <br>

*'''Summer 2522''' - The Miners Guild has begun petitioning the “wind farmers” of Ghost for membership to promote better working conditions and wages. While not technically miners, the workers there operate in similar conditions.
