==Habitat and population== Being immortal, gnomes live peculiar and ever changing lives. Most of their years they spend in solitude, hiding in a well prepared burrow. At one point they take a 50 year long brake to find a mate and raise children, after which the couple separates. When an urge for something different hits them they travel, or even join a settlement of a species they find bearable. This does not happen often due to them being xenophobic and mistrustful of other races. ==Relationships== Gnomes are xenophobic and antisocial by nature, and would sooner hide than talk to a stranger. '''[[Elven folk]]''' Most elves hunt gnomes as part of their culture. Gnomes believe they are jealous of their immortality and are looking for ways to steal it. ==Biology== A gnome pregnancy lasts 200 days. Gnomes are immortal, meaning they can not die of old age.
