[[category:Iron Kingdoms]] This is a working space for an Iron Kingdoms campaign in development which revolves around a mercenary unit. The game is 6th level and features an attempt to create more active player participation in the story much like Weapons of the Gods. The storyline will focus more on a hybrid of Warmachine and Player's guide information. The game will also attempt to play out on a larger scale than the standard D&D game, insomuch as player actions within the game may influence nations etc. == Sources == Arcana Evolved, Iron Kingdoms Character Guide, Iron Kingdoms Players Guide, Players Handbook, Players Handbook II Dungeon Master's Guide, Complete Divine == Modifications == Guns are now Martial weapons and are also loaded with rounds instead of shot and powder. This should account for the wargame's use of gatling and machine guns. Also the Battleglaive is downgraded to be a martial weapon. Revolvers exist probably mostly as military weapons, though I assume they are an early development for cased rounds for pistols. Also, as this is a mostly low magic game, class bonuses for armor class will have to be added as attack bonuses far outstrip defence in standard D&D. These are derived from the D20 Modern ruleset as the Unearthed Arcana class defence option uses them in lieu of the AC bonus from armor. It counts as touch AC as well. Fast progression: Light characters, so rogues, monks Medium Progression: warriors, fighters, clerics?
