== Background ==

Helena is a pale, inky-haired 30-something who favors antique black and gray clothing. Once the owner of a prosperous occult book shop and the sole heiress to her family's granite monument fortune, Helena fell on hard times last year when her diabolist boyfriend's ritual with his pet succubus went awry, resulting in the destruction of Helena's house and a good-sized chunk of the surrounding city block. The resulting legal bills forced Helena to sell everything she owned, including her beloved shop and almost all of her books, and plunged her deeply into debt. Although she is still uncomfortable with her newfound notoriety, Helena has decided to make the most of it and possibly even turn a profit, since everyone believes she was responsible for blowing up the house (and her boyfriend and his succubus mistress) anyway. When she heard about an opportunity to join XCrawl, she learned all she could about it then signed up before she could change her mind.

*Fastidiousness. Time: 10 minutes. Duration: 24 hours. Arcana (no check). The wizard or a creature within 2 squares is warded against becoming dirty. No matter what the target does, touches, walks through, or experiences, the target’s person, clothes, and carried possessions are not soiled. If the target is in any way soiled when the ritual is completed, that filth is immediately shed. Attacks or other effects that involve dirtying the character work as normal but leave no lasting waste or residue.

*Object Reading. Time: 1 hour. Duration: 5 minutes. Arcana. The wizard sees images related to an object held at the completion of the ritual. Arcana check result determines the number of images seen. Can choose to see a sword's last owner, the creature that forged it, and the last creature it killed.
*Familiar Mount. Time: 5 minutes. Duration: 12 hours. Arcana (no check). Familiar grows to Large size and can accommodate the wizard as a rider. It is in active mode for the duration. Can end the ritual by returning the familiar to passive mode with a minor action. If the familiar takes damage equal to 5 + one-half wizard's level, it returns to normal size and passive mode.
