Kauri is 5'11" with very tanned skin and a bald head (though he often wears a kerchief to protect his head from the sun).  He wears comfortable trail clothes, well worn boots, and well used light leather armor, with his small shield riding his right hip when not in use and his sword on his left hip for a cross draw. His javelins are carried in a large quiver that can be attached to a saddle when he's riding, and often he uses one as a walking stick if walking.  He is protective, and a blur in combat.
