We are reminded of the events leading up to the Press Conference announcing the Survivors to the world.  Following their aiding the bus/taxi accident in Georgetown the Survivor group rushed to escape the cameras and emergency services.  Brain and Mandy rush away with a group of 20+ onlookers following as Agent Marks orders Arthur to get Jack's lifeless body to a hospital.  Brian and Mandy escape with new revelations of their powers as Jack finds his way from an astral plane back into his body.  Some two hours later the Survivors and their extended group settle for the night at Arthur's father's apartment building, waiting for the Press Conference near the Lincoln Memorial the next day.  Questions pummel the Survivor panel and Brian takes most of them with graceOnly Arthur and Jack would surprise the world with blunt statements (Arthur) and undecernable language (Jack).  The group is greeted off the stage by NTAC, a new branch of Homeland Security assigned to the passengers of AA Flight 283Now the survivors seperate to return home to settle with their families, planning to see how the world will react to them if not react FOR them, when they next return to the Lincoln Memorial...
