Human Forged are a race of Constructs created by Aaren D'Cannith with the help of Adas (The Lord of Blades).  They are capable of passing themselves off as human if they are not subject to injury or any critical medical examination.  They are capable of eating, mimicing sleep, and even engaging in recreational sex.  None of these particular activities give them any benefit, though the most advanced modules are able to derive a strong sense of pleasure from the last.  This is mostly through a mild ESP effect that allows them to enjoy the pleasure of their partners vicariously.


The first Humanforged was '''Lei D'Cannith''' (see Dreaming Dark Trilogy by Keith Baker), that was passed off by renegade followers of Aaren D'Cannith as their own daughter.  Lei D'Cannith was almost a perfect replica of a human being and even possessed the power to grow up from a little girl due to her largely organic nature.  Most other Human Forged are much more mechanical, being essentially Constructs that are covered in human flesh.


There are only a very small number of Human Forged in the world, with only perhaps fifty to a  hundred total in Eberron.  The majority of them are products of the Lord of Blades unholy experiments and are currently working in human society for the eventual downfall of mankind.  A small number of them have joined the Watchmen but Cassius Du'Shadowfast has insisted that they keep their true natures a secret.  This has gone to the point of actually erasing memories from witnesses.
