= Character Creation =
 
 
 
1. Players choose their character's Primary Stats; the total must equal 1. A starting PC's Fame is 0, Rank is -2 and Fate is 0.
 
 
 
2. Players buy Skills, Talents and Spells from a pool of 20 points.
 
 
 
Skills cost 2 points for +1, 5 points for +2, and 8 points for +3. Musket Prowess may not be chosen as a starting Skill.
 
 
 
The costs for Talents and Spells are identified in parenhteses next to their entries. Drill may not be a starting Talent.
 
 
 
3. Players select two types of weapon (any number) and one other item. Exotic items are not avilable.
 
 
 
4. Players calculate Defence and Resistance.
