A character develops an uncontrollable precognitive ability that forces them to experiences events that what will happen a minute or two from now.  The events do not even have to be the characters own; they could belong to a friend, a stranger, or even an object or location.  By placing the visions only a minute or two into the future, this tool can be used to create suspense and allows the storyteller some measure of control regarding the accuracy of the predicted event.

This event is best to be staged within some sort of long-term-care institution such as a hospital or a prison, but can be creatively adapted to work anywhere.  A group of individuals within the afore mentioned institution have been spontaneously saying a single word.  When taken apart, this act is meaningless.  But recently someone noticed that a number of them speak one after another and there seems to be some logical sequence.  While the whole statement is yet to be assembled (missing people mean missing words, cryptic double speak, poor connection to the message originator), enough is understood to raise concerns.
