* The best sword, the best shot, the best sailor, and the best kisser on the continent, at least according to his authorized biography.  Koulton Brightwind earned his name, as well as an ironclad death sentence in twenty ports, when he defected from House Lyrandar and took a priceless airship with him.  So far he's stayed a step ahead of death through verve, cunning, fancy bladework, and the simple expedient of paying House Thuranni money to murder all the assasins sent after him. It's not entirely clear why he agreed to teach a class for Morgrave, but rumor has it that while in Sharn he's under the personal protection of Dr. Shusane.
