She has a very dark past that she hasn't really discussed with her new adventuring friends but they can see she's seen pure evil.
 
 
She's aligned True neutral and has a pact with the fiend. Her new found power frightens her a little. She tries her best to control it in her spare time, practicing it as she once practiced her wizard spells before.
 
 
Krystal's mother was killed by bandits right in front of her eyes when she was still young and she was powerless to stop them. It was at that point that she made a pact with the fiend for the power to destroy the bandits, promising she would have her revenge and that she'd never let another person she cared about die. That is the day she left her home village. She's been out many years now and still has not found who she seeks but along the way met good people who she now travels with.
