When it was, he answered the call and returned to fight to defend his home world. However, once the fighting was done, there was so much devastation left that it no longer felt like the home he remembered. He's also angry that rather than obtaining the peace and rest his dead family deserves, they've been turned into Wraithguard. He understands why it needs to be done, but it still makes him angry. So with Iyanden no longer feeling like home, and his family dead but still walking, Kyndeyrn feels he has no place in the Universe he belongs, no home to go back to. It's not enough to make him morose or gloomy, but it is a sore point.
