== Overview == 

A pantheon of gods worshipped by a large segment of the peoples of the Athernian peninsula.  In Athervon, the Old Athernian Gods were the most popular religion during the period known as the First Line of Kings, which ended with the Jhonian invasion and conquest.  
Followers of the Old Athernian Gods have dwindled since the rise of the Holy Faith and the expulsion of the Jhonians, particularly in the northern areas of the peninsula.  But it is still popular in the lands that border the Imurian Sea, and is competitive with the Holy Faith in terms of followers in places like Anida and Duath.

King of the Gods: This avatar is of a huge, powerful, preternaturally handsome man in his early fifties, lean but muscular, with a flowing salt-and-pepper beard and hair, who wears a golden tiara crown and dresses in rich white and blue robes trimmed in gold.  In his right hand he bears the spear of lightning; in his left hand he holds the sphere of command.

The Storm King: This avatar is a massive tornado filled with lightning and thunder, capable of laying waste to whole cities.
