====Background====Angelo Spinoza always fancied himself a modern-day teenage Robin Hood. Ever since he was a child, he became very aware of all the injustice that existed in the world, especially his low-income neighborhood, the Butcher’s Quarter. Deciding he wouldn’t sit idly by while injustice prevailed, young. He became an accomplished thief, stealing from those that had more and giving to people that had less, like his mother who needed several medicines for her poor health. Despite his activities, Angelo never saw himself as a criminal, more like a protector of his own community. He even skirted the gangs, whom he despised, seeing them as predators of their own community. One day, Angelo’s mother became extremely ill. He had to cross the city in other to steal the medicines she needed. To get back quickly, he stole a motorcycle, but was pursued by New Alexandria’s finest and crashed inside a derelict building. As he regained his wits, Angelo could swear the big Greek dude in winged sandals and helmet in the billboard for Hermes Moving Company winked at him. Not having time to waste with hallucinations and with the bike broken down, Angelo ran as fast as he could and, surprisingly, it was way faster than he thought he could. He reached his home in a matter of seconds and saved his mother. Impressed with his new ability, he did some testing in order to learn how to control it. During this time, he also found out his thief skills had increased exponentially. For the first time in his life, Angelo realized he could make a difference outside the Butcher’s Quarter…
