Allowing the Call of the ancestors to let you loose all track of your present, human perceptions and state of being (perception of time, of size, etc.). For a Leviathan the complete loss of human perceptions is the complete loss of their human form, the loss of all Firmament. Firmament is the strength of their memory of the present as they become one with the primordial memories of the ancestors and risk losing themselves in those mighty forms. Those who lose all Firmament and are unable to become human again are called Typhons.

The interaction between the Leviathan and the human world is the essence of the Tempest, the chaos of their conflicting natures (natural order vs. imposed order, primordial chaos vs. moral chaos). The elemental chaos of the Leviathans provokes (moral, that is spiritual chaos, that is, degeneration) in things of the human order, including the human part of themselves (hence why their majestic primeval Echo forms are tainted by gross corruption). The way a vampire sometimes needs to kill a homeless person to get their blood fix, sometimes a Leviathan just has to blow up the building that's filled with his noisy neighbors so he can commune with the ancestors for a bit and not turn into sludge (and at the same time create a maelstrom of chaos that degenerates his neighbors into incestuous cannibals at the same time)."

** Tranquility can also be a model for stabiliy of the self, especially if we're playing up the transformational and transitional themes. The above is workable but it's probably necessary to get away from the "mass property damage" model if we want a whole group of Leviathan to be a viable party.
