He doesn't recall much about his creator.  Something about a cactus.  But after that, he haunted the Fort City's woods from the fringes, picking off anything that wasn't careful, including people.  He was finally caught at the Defensive Wall Incident six months before the events in Miststar, when he was caught by the Marshals on the other side of the particularly large hole he just punched in it.

He doesn't recall much about his creator.  Something about a cactus.  But after that, he had moved through the Miststar crime scene as a freelancer.  He was finally caught at the Defensive Wall Incident six months before the events in Miststar, when he was caught by the Marshals outside of the particularly large hole he just punched in it.

Since then, he was bounced around from prison to prison, as they tried to figure out the best location to arrange his execution, and so he couldn't figure out how to break free.

Missing years background: He was one of a large batch of war alchemicals created by a wizard in exile in the Jungles based off the massive number of different insects in the region, in the hopes of being the next conqueror.  However, this ambition was never even put into motion as the ranks were devastated by an incredibly irate albino cactus monster of Tradjatten proportions.  Scared and wounded, he would have died if not for the intervention of a druidic loner, who helped Locust recover and named him for his highly omnivorous habits, as he would even eat his deceased siblings to survive.  Later in his life, he hunted around a Fort City, seeing such easy prey around it.  Eventually, though, he wondered about the interior and decided to make his way in.

A normally calm, collected sociopath.  Though around this group, he's just been having too much fun to calm down.  He is primarily focused on his own survival, though given a group, he will not abandon it for any reason.  Before you ask how far he's willing to go to stay alive, it's worth noting that he registers as Chaotic Evil.  If you are dead, you are something that can be eaten.  If put into a dangerous situation with a stranger, he will use said stranger as a humanoid shield.  His morality is pretty much "what is currently necessary".

Despite all beliefs that his powers relate to secreting explosives, he in fact lacks that capability, and is in fact seismokinetic-that is, he has control of vibrations.  However, it is (built to be) limited.  He has to be touching an object affected by vibrations he has caused, and must be focused specifically on manipulating the vibrations and physical structure of an object.  He also can't do anything directly to any living targets aside from himself with this, as they generate too many complex vibrations at the same time.  Which is where the rending claws he naturally possesses come in.  He is "naturally" double jointed, and decently strong-not quite at what could be called mammalian panian prime, but still stronger than most.

He also has a habit of hiding high yield explosives in his stomach.  How?  Not sure, and also not sure its a good idea to ask.

Deathly afraid of cacti.  His seismokinesis is limited, and is already at peak ability since his creator disliked the idea of a minion with such a dangerous ability able to grow without restraints.  Especially if said minion could possibly be swayed against said creator.  Also has several pounds of explosives stored and isn't fireproof.

Strangely, though, vibrations don't affect them.

He was built to be part of a unit, but has been deprived of minds that were in any way similar to his own to be around.  With the inherent chaos that makes up TIME, he is naturally drawn to the group like a moth to a flame.
