==Concept== Characters are children and teenagers below age of 16, who has uninitiated magic potential. Characters need not be human, but the above applies, so no 500 years vampire pretending to be 15 year old little witch, thank you very much. Characters can be of any gender, though it might be worth noting that all the the faculty and staff in the Academy would be female, and so is the majority of students. Hence, every facility or regulation in the school may be designed based on the assumption that the character is female. You have been warned. ==Build== Characters will be PL8, 120 points build. Combat won't be terribly important or often in this game, but still. There'll be no Drawbacks. If something is imporatnt for your characterization, take it as a Complication. Artificer, Ritualist and Inventor will not be useful. Don't bother. Knowledge (Arcane Lore) works differently. Each subject in the Academy count as a single Knowledge skill, such as Knowledge (Summoning) or Knowledge (Potions). Knowledge (Arcane Lore) gives you a general sense on the "Arcane Scene" - who is who, what magic belongs to what subject, things like that. Character must have exactly 8 Ranks in the Magic power - no more, no less. Characters must choose a style for their magic, such as Fire, Time or Life. Mechanically, it's a second Descriptor that limits what kind of powers a character can have and stunt off the Magic array. Your Base Power of Magic need not be Blast. In fact, it's recommended to have other power as Base Power, since you'll be learning damaging spells very soon. You don't design any of the spells in the Magic array. Give me a description, and I'll stat it out for you. Thes same goes for the base power of the Magic array.
