'''Akemi Ogami''' (the Ice Princess) is a pretty girl, 16 years old, who is often mistaken for a university student. She is a first year senior high student at Nana Shimai (Sever Sisters) Girls Academy. Captain of the Kendo team, she is respected and even loved by many of the Nana Shimai students. Those who think to bully the girls at the school (or girls in general) are wise to be wary her anger, as she will protect girls, especially the younger ones.

Even in kindergarten Akemi was considered mature, by her teachers and her classmates. Her teachers were glad to have her help, and her classmates respected her and admired her. She was a natural leader in many respects. This reputation has followed her through her school life. and is capped off by her being the eldest daughter of the Ogami Dojo, one of the premier schools of the sword.

But the truth is that Akemi does not want to be respected, or considered mature, she always just wanted to be one of the school children, to be able to make mistakes that no one would care about because she was a child. However she did not want to let anyone down, so she always maintained the mature and responsible and elegant facade that people wanted from her.

In fact that is why she became a magical girl, because it was a chance to do the thing that she knew was wrong, and yet allow people to still consider that she was doing it out of noble desires.

What kind of girl? Akemi is tall and beautiful, with a model’s body, a some say, more people think she is older than her 16 years. She is mature and will stand up to those who would hurt the helpless.
What convinced her to make the Contract? A desire to do something wrong, for once in her life, to make a stupid, selfish choice.
What is her wish? To be a small child again, forever, so that no one will expect her to be mature and responsible. Not that she would tell anyone.

*Magical Weapon: A silver katana named Frost Flower, on which hoar frost blooms.

*Magical Power: Red Thread - Lovely Sword Saint can see the red threads of love the bind people, and her silver katana can cut them, though she can pluck a thread from the hilt wrapping to join cut threads.
*Magical Effects: Swift Action, as if sliding on ice, Lovely Sword Saint often moves before anyone else.
*Magical Effects: Healing, by grasping the red threads she can transfer vitality, to heal a person.
*Costume: A sharp, almost military looking school blazer and skirt, with leather straps to hold her sword. The transformation is instantaneous, not flashing lights or stripper moves. It is so sudden one might be left thinking she must have always been wearing such an outfit and somehow they did not notice.

Relationships
*The Magical Girl Chise - While doing magical stuff Akemi has met another magical girl and she is a little worried about how sickly she looks.
*The Seven Sisters Kendo Club - The club is made up of about thirty students in both Junior and Senior high, they practice in the old school building, sharing a large space with other clubs for a dojo, but they have a large room for storage and the club office whish is theirs alone.
*Frost Flower - Akemi cares deeply, in a pathalogical sense, for her sword. 
* Fujiwara Kentarou - Sub-Captain of the Elite Young Men Academy's kendo team. Occasional sparring partner for Akemi.
