Editing Mandarin-Tory

The Mandarin-Tories are a political faction of the Alliance Parliament.<br>
They are made up of members of the aristocracy in the Alliance. Shortly after the Exodus when the Sino-Anglo Alliance began they represented a group who wanted an upper House of Lords to represent the more stable elements of Earth-That-Was' history. They were voted down, but many of the leaders used their power and reputations to run for election. The M-Ts gained control of the Parliament recently only to result in a bifurcation of powers that led to a brief state of civil unrest in the Alliance. <br>
