Manscher is an experienced soldier in his mid-40s.  He is of average height but has a thick, muscular build.  Manscher still has black hair, sporting a neatly cropped beard and short cropped hair, where he's not bald on top.  He is seen about town in traditional mainland clothes, some form of armor, or even completely in native clothing.  He's taken a native girl as a bride and is happily settled into his retirement.  Anyone that he doesn't know is treated with an obvious level of distrust.  However, when with those he trusts, Manscher is known for have a warm personality, especially after he's gotten some wine into him.
