''Lawful Good Half-Elf/Shifter [Bunny] Female Summoner 8/Cleric of Cassius 2'' http://pspmedia.ign.com/psp/image/article/857/857807/crisis-core-final-fantasy-vii-20080307033144318.jpg '''Appearance''': The cloning process of Merrix D'Cannith has managed to successfully replicate the appearance of Cassius' ex-wife, Alice, almost completely. She is significantly more demure and shy than the real Alice ever was. She also has a tendency to not dress in pink, unlike her progenitor. More obviously, Alice has completely become a Rabbit Shifter and her elf heritage makes her almost irresistibly cute. '''Personality''': With the transformation of Marie into an adult young woman, someone has to play the part of the wild eyed innocent people can't even mention the word sex in front of. Well, Marlene D'Shadowfast certainly qualifies as she seems to be the most absolutely nice person one could possibly meet. Curiously, she's founded her own religion in the veneration of Saint Cassius and the Bunny Shifter Animal Lord. Bluntly, wherever she's been hanging out, hasn't given her much real world experience as aside from dodging Merrix D'Cannith's goons....she doesn't seem to have much in the way of street smarts. Instead, Marlene assumes everyone is acting from generous and kind motives. '''Background''': The result of Merrix D'Cannith III's experiments, Marlene is a memetic clone of the last of the Animal Lord priestesses of the Rabbit Goddess. Marlene has no memories of Alice's life, but instead seems to have inherited most of her personality and mannerisms. Escaping from his laboratory, many people were initially bewitched by her natural good nature and beauty but she's managed to largely get that under control since them. Adopted by the Church of Pyriel, she's spent the past few months with Kael's friends in learning how to master her innate gift for Shamanist Channeling. Shockingly, she's trying to work up the courage to ask Overlord on a date. A more oddly mismatched pair there could not be. Kisa and she are best friends! [[Wrath of the Lich Queen]]
