'''Personality''': Marlene is a walking plot-device in terms of weird reactions. People will pretty much feel compelled to emote towards her in ways that are decidedly uncomfortable in retrospect. Bluntly, there's something disarmingly charming about Marlene that makes people want to express their hidden feelings publicly before her.  Which is all the more funny given her emotional maturity and the fact that she reacts usually by razor-sharp logic.

'''Appearance''':  The cloning process of Merrix D'Cannith has managed to successfully replicate the appearance of Cassius' ex-wife, Alice, almost completely.  She is significantly more demure and shy than the real Alice ever was.  She also has a tendency to not dress in pink, unlike her progenitor.  More obviously, Alice has completely become a Rabbit Shifter and her elf heritage makes her almost irresistibly cute.

Marlene herself is not exactly emotionally mature enough to do much emoting.  She's fairly a blank slate in terms of emotional responses but seems driven by a bizarre compassion she doesn't understand to want to help those around her.  This is partially by Merrix's design.  Unfortunately, she also has an evil side that's brought out by Merrix's well chosen command words.

'''Personality''':  With the transformation of Marie into an adult young woman, someone has to play the part of the wild eyed innocent people can't even mention the word sex in front of.  Well, Marlene D'Shadowfast certainly qualifies as she seems to be the most absolutely nice person one could possibly meet.  Curiously, she's founded her own religion in the veneration of Saint Cassius and the Bunny Shifter Animal Lord.  Bluntly, wherever she's been hanging out, hasn't given her much real world experience as aside from dodging Merrix D'Cannith's goons....she doesn't seem to have much in the way of street smarts.  Instead, Marlene assumes everyone is acting from generous and kind motives.

Marlene herself is fully intelligent and capable as an adult in terms of her knowledge about the world but she is much like a warforged in other respects.  This is due to the fact that she has full adult consciousness but very little experience about the world.  Most of her knowledge is the kind that could be downloaded from a text book.  Unfortunately, she maintains a limited access to the Githyanki's "Racial Memory" that provides her strange impulses and feelings that links her to that evil race.
