Editing Mars (The Villainess)

'''Appearance:''' Mars is a woman in her late twenties. She wears dark iron clad armor on her bodice and is most infamously marked by the Spartan like head dress she wears. She appears both intimidating and powerful.


In her normal guise as Eris Leeds she looks like a normal woman in her late twenties. Given a head of light red hair, red eyes and typically seen wearing a pink apron of all things.


'''Personality:''' Mars is arguably the greatest villain in all of her own world (which was destroyed by Omega). As such she is suitably somewhat of a diabolical type. One who has no quarrel taking advantage of others or showing her supremity to those who defy her. However upon losing her powers and being forced to adopt the role of a housewife. She has had to cool her temper and force herself to be more kind in the public eye. This hasn't stopped her from secretly plotting the destruction of the neighborhood however.


She also has a kinder side to her and has been known to spare the lives of people she has viewed with admiration and even companionship. Whether or not this is a sign of her own femininity showing or simply the fact that she hasn't completely stamped out her conscience is not known.


'''Powers:''' Is proficient with ANY weapon and can gain proficiency with ANY weapon upon being given one. This includes weapons that should not be available to her in her own world or weapons she has never received before. She also possesses a powerful battle sense (essentially it's like Spider sense in that she can sense danger before danger becomes apparent) and also has the special power to counter ANY attack.


'''Weaknesses:''' Mars requires the blessings of her goddess Ares for her to use her powers. When she displeases Ares or goes against her word she loses her powers.


Because her own Ares was destroyed and/or lost in Omega's destruction of her world. She is permanently without powers.


'''Background:''' Described partially in [[Izdubar]]'s background. Mars was born in an alternate universe where Zeus remained and let the Greek empire grow in size and power never thought of before.


She was apart of Ares armies of amazon like warriors known as Spartonzs. Training with them for most of her life, she managed to prove herself to her goddess by climbing Mount Olympus to the very top and managing to meet with her goddess on equal grounds. Ares was impressed with the mortal woman's dedication and battle skill and as such made her her own champion.


Mars spent the remainder of her life. Attempting to conquer all the world in the name of Ares, until she was eventually stalemated by [[The Centurion]] and defeated by Omega. Now she is in the normal Earth, powerless, and hoping to carve a life out with her new husband Mark Leeds and their son Gil.


Mars's current goal is to simply try and adapt to this new life. Without her goddess to answer her prayers she has turned, with some regret, to looking to her husband for support. She has thankful found it and adapted to life outside of Freedom city relatively well. This doesn't stop her from occasionally plotting some diabolical plan to conquer the city or some other small territory occasionally. But such actions she typically hides from her family. Unknown to her that Gil is fully aware that his mother is very much still a villain.
